Self-love : Steps to Mental Clarity
I just read
about a something and it quite got me hooked in it. While I was reading Never
Finished(recommended) by David Goggins. I got stunned by one thing. That is his
mindset, compared to him I am nothing but I know I can do better if I try hard
and I am trying. He told to listen to our voices. We all make mistakes and we
can rectify it soon. Just take your mobile out and record your own voice.
If you want
to stop any habit, just use this simple method. Talk about the things you wish
you could change in your life. Listen to your voice again and again. You will
start to feel like shit, when you are not doing well. You can even write things
down and record it in your phone. This will make you always remember the things
you want to change.
Instead of
listening to music which can motivate you, your voice will be your own
motivator. There is a catch here. We all love people whom we know and whom we
have spent time together. You must be good to other no matter what the situation
might be, you have to be good. But when it come to our own self, you just have
to be hard.
Because
self-love is hard. Self-love is not just about loving yourself deeply, it is
about being stable in mind and disciplined. Love is always hard but selflove is
very much hard. Being fat is self-love and I like my body and the way it looks.
The things you like in yourself are the things you must develop in yourself
more. Self-love is not about being narcissistic or selfish. It is about caring
for oneself.
Are you
really caring for yourself? No, you are just wasting your life and blaming it
on others. If you love yourself more you don’t need to do things which spoils
you in some way.
Self-love
1) Take the
first step now, accept who you are and know your strength and weakness. You
must know about yourself more.
2) Self-love
is self-care. Take care of yourself well liking eating good and exercise, etc.
this will make you look good and feel confident about yourself.
3) Then set
boundaries for yourself, if someone crosses that you have learn to say no to
things which you don’t like. When you
start to say no to things people will start to respect you even more.
When you
start to do the first three steps, you will notice a of change happening to you
in days. This will raise your own self-respect. You might be respecting you
more. Self-love is also self-respect.
4) The next
thing you have to do is start shit talking with yourself. We all speak with our
own minds sometimes. But you don’t have to be positive to yourself. Just talk
trash with yourself and mock yourself more. By doing this you will start to
feel motivated and you start to challenge yourself more.
5) Be happy
and always feel good about yourself. You have to forgive others for their wrong
doings. And you have to be happy with what you got. Be satisfied with what you
have. Many people don’t even get those things you have got. Be present in the
moment and talk in a good way with others.
